Kidfest Bouldering Comp

The RockFest Boulder Competition will be in an open format.  There will be eight categories. The J1 division (10-13 years old) will have both a beginner and advanced (3+ years of competing) category for both boys and girls.  The J2 division (14-18 years old) will have both a beginner and advanced (3+ years of competing) category for both boys and girls.  Winners will be awarded prizes based on the total accumulation of points over both days of competition. All participants will receive a goody bag and t-shirt.

Welcome To The 2010 Smith Rock Detour

The Smith Rock Detour will be a weekend of festivities centered around climbing and the outdoors. The Detour will feature a youth bouldering competition, Reel Rock Film Tour Oregon premier, climbing clinics, demos, music, slacklining, aerial dancers, circus performers, yoga and other media presentations. All proceeds from the event will benefit the following three organizations. Climb Up So Kids Can grow Up! is a non-profit helping children with AIDS to live healthier and happier lives. The Access Fund is the national advocacy organization that keeps U.S. climbing areas open and conserves the climbing environment. Smith Rock State Park is the birthplace of American Sport Climbing.
